Merry Christmas in July y'all!  Doing anything to celebrate?  We're going to watch some Christmas movies, make peanut butter balls (YUM!) and maybe play some Christmas games.
In Jr. Church, on Sunday night, we're going to celebrate it as well.  We've got some fun things planned!  Hopefully they'll like it.  We'll share more with you after the event, when when can show you some pictures.
Meanwhile, here are some random Christmas things we're going to share with y'all.  Hope you enjoy and maybe get some ideas you can use for your own Christmas!  :)

Every year for Christmas, I make my each of my immediate family members the same thing, only with their likes as the main thing.  (not sure if that makes sense)  Last year I gave them each a goodie bag with their favorite things in it.

In each one there was
*There favorite Bible verse in a picture with their favorite season and their "God Loves them" sign.
*a snowglobe with a picture another of their "God Loves them" signs and on the other side it said "Smile, God loves you".
*a couple of their favorite snacks
* favorite drink
*favorite Christmas candy
(needless to say the Mello Yellow in the left corner didn't fit in the bag)

I made the "These Are A Few Of Your Favorite Things" sign on the computer and glued on each one.  The tags I found online and backed them with green paper.  The "tissue paper" is fabric that I hot glued to the inside.

This adorable snowman tissue box cover was made by our sister.  She can just look at a pattern or picture and viola!  She can make her own!

Dixie's M&M painted ornaments.  She likes to collect M&M stuff, so she decided to make herself some M&M ornaments a couple of years ago.  Cute huh?

Our Mother made these darling, crocheted angels for Christmas presents last year.  She uses this really tiny thread.  I don't know how she does it, I wouldn't have the patience.

Hey y'all,

Here is a Christmas in July post for ya.  These are some signs that Dixie painted last winter.  She made the redbird one for our Mother.  She likes redbirds and decorates the dining room with them.

Hey y'all,

Since we're celebrating Christmas in July, we're going to reblog some of our Christmas crafts, starting with these "Snowglobes".  Dixie painted these and filled them with our favorite candy.

(In July)

I know.  I know.  Y'all are probably thinking are they serious?  YES!  We are!  As you may have figured out by now we LOVE Christmas!

Have y'all started watching Christmas movies yet?  We did a couple of weeks ago.  Last night we watched Hallmark's Christmas Card.  One of their best I'd have to say.   I'm sure we'll watch another one tonight.  :)

On Sunday, we (Jr. Church & Children's Church) celebrated Christmas in July.  Fun!  We watched last years Christmas play.  The kids had fun watching themselves.  Some of them were embarrassed, but they had fun.  We also made Christmas and Let it Snow cupcakes.  How could we have a party and not have cupcakes, right?  Dixie and I had fun trying out all of the tips for the frosting, so if they look strange, that's why.   photo 05a793b3-3e82-47d6-903b-9ba7514f6250.jpg   photo c752ef48-8622-4582-a4f1-6819f8a4b59b.jpg

For our crafts, each of the kids drew an adults name and made them a Christmas craft.  I enjoyed watching and helping them make their crafts.  They really enjoyed making their crafts for the adults and did their best.  While they were making their crafts I played a Winter Wonderland DVD.  You know, the one's that show different snow scenes and play music.  Love it!  (Sometimes I just sit there and watch it, with a cup of tea or coffee of course.  So relaxing!)  When we were done, each kid took their craft to the adult they made it for.  I wish I could have taken pictures, but totally forgot.  :(

Are y'all going to celebrate Christmas in July?  Or are we the only crazy people that do that?  lol

Have a great day y'all!

MERRY CHRISTMAS IN JULY!!!!!!!!!
Here are some pictures of our Christmas trees last year.  Don't you just love all of the presents underneath of the first one?  That was the tree in our living room, the morning before we opened our presents.  We must have been good! :)  The red n gold tree was in our dining room.
Here is a closer look at our living room Christmas tree.
