How's your week so far?   Did you have a good weekend?  We did!  As I said last week, our Church celebrated it's 50th anniversary, so we had a big day.  Maybe soon we'll post some pictures of all of the decorations and everything.

In the meantime, here are some signs that Dixie painted.  Hope you enjoy them!  Let us know whatcha' think!

Dixie painted this sign for moi!  My two favorite colors:  orange and red!  I'm addicted to coffee, so that explains that.  She had asked me for a coffee quote and this is the one I told and here it is on a sign!  

Our brother, who does wood working, made the coffee cups.  Oh!  I almost forgot!  It has polka dots too!  Obviously! :)

This one she made for our older sister, who is an avid Yankees fan.

How was your weekend?  Hopefully it was and good!  We had a good weekend.  Busy as usual, but busy is good.  Our Church is getting ready to celebrate it's 50th anniversary, so we're busy helping with that. 

Here is something Dixie made for our older sister, who is a passionate, die-hard New York Yankees fan!  Dixie painted every single thing!  Notice all of the detail?  Isn't she so creative and talented?  I'm just in awe of how much detail she was able to paint so perfectly.  I want her to make me an SF.  You know, for San Francisco Giants.  Yep.  We're divided when it comes to baseball.  We all like a different team, except my brother,  I'm slowly converting him into a SF Giants fan!  :)

Hey y'all,

Here are some Christmas projects we wanted to share with y'all.  These were all made and hand-painted by Dixie.  Is she talented or what?  I keep telling her she needs to sell these and anything else she paints.  God has really blessed her with this talent!

Dixie made each of us a "Candy Globe", or whatever you want to call it, painted them to suit us individually and filled them with our favorite candies!

 1.  "The Santa Train"
It's a traditional thing around here.  Usually happens the Saturday before Thanksgiving.  She made this one for our Dad.  He's always loved trains and wintergreen peppermints!

  

 

   

 2.  Red Birds

Our Mother loves red birds.  They remind her of her mom, our Mamaw, who also loved them.  They reminded her that God loved her.  

This one's filled with Dove's dark chocolate with almonds and Lindt's dark chocolate.

   

3.  New York Yankees

Our oldest sister is a die-hard Yankees fan.  Hey, don't judge.  Her's is filled with Rice Krispies Treats.

   

    

4.  Coffee and Snowflakes and Polka Dots!

Guess whose this is!  Yep!  Mine! You might not be able to see it too good, but there are two orange coffee mugs, too.

       

5.  Eagles

Unfortunately we don't have pictures of this one...yet!
