"If I Run" is a non-stop, action packed, heart racing, page turner.  This book is filled with suspense and will keep you guessing.  Literally.  I didn't realize until the last couple of pages that Casey's story wasn't going to be concluded in this book.  I was frustrated and disappointed, but in a good way.  I'm so anxious to find out what happens, hopefully it won't be too long.  

The characters are very well developed and Casey is an angel.  I love how she is so selfless and always willing to help others even though she's on the run for her life.

The fact that Dylan Roberts is understanding and is smart and is actually Casey's Allie. 

My only complaint is what happened in the library.  I'm proud that Casey did what was right and stopped that man from continuing, but I was disturbed just reading about it. 

Anyone who loves suspense and non stop action, you will absolutely love this book!

For Love of Money review:

I had never read a Terri Blackstock romance before, just her mysteries.  Apparently she's good at writing both!  This was a fun and light-hearted story about two kind-hearted people.  

 

Julie wasn't greedy and could care less about becoming a millionaire.  Then she becomes one and doesn't like the kind of person it has turned her into.  

 

Blake on the other hand can't wait to collect the millions, but won't do it without Julie.  

Blake finds out that he's not so good at handling money and then thinks that he may have the right to Julie's. Obviously, this doesn't sit well with Julie so they part ways.  

Do they get back together or has the love of money driven them apart for good?

 

 

The Recipe review:

This was my first time reading Candace Calvert's work, but I hope it's not my last.  I was drawn into this book from the beginning.   The characters were so "alive" and "real" that I felt this was actually happening.  

 

She wrote her characters with strong and caring personalities.   Sure, they have their flaws, but they don't let that hold them back.  They learn from them. 

This book was my favorite of the three.

Hook Line and Sinker review:

Susan May Warren has always been a favorite of mine, but for some reason, I wasn't able to get into this book right away.  It kinda' felt like I was starting off in the middle of the story.

 

However, I did enjoy it once it got going. 

 

The characters in this book had a problem with forgiveness and grudges, but they did learn how to deal with them.  

All in all, this was an enjoyable read.  If you like light-hearted, romantic, Christian fiction books then you will enjoy this collection.

Terri Blackstock's books are always full of suspense, twists n turns, romance and the unexpected.  "Twisted Innocence" was no different.  This book is a can't-put-down-page-turner, that will keep you up late at night reading it to find out what happens.  

This series focus's on three sisters and the disasters that have come their way.  But they stick together and remain united as a family.  They are there for each other and support each other through the ups n downs, blessings and mistakes of life.  This is how a family should be and reminded me of my sisters and me.   Although our personalities are not like the characters in the book, in the end we're still sisters and we're still family.  

I liked how Holly tried so hard to get her life back together and didn't give in to the temptation of her old life. (Something I didn't like was how much it talked about her feeding her baby.  Of course the baby needed to be fed, there's no reason to go on and on about it.)

She loved her baby too much.  She realized that God loves her even with her mistakes.  Which is always a great reminder.  God always loves us, no matter what!

"Distortion"

Juliet Cole is living a nightmare.  Her husband, Bob, of fifteen years was just shot to death before her eyes.  At first she thinks it's just some random shooting, but then she gets an unnerving voicemail, which makes her realize her husband was deliberately murdered.  Somehow she must meet the killers demands, if only she knew what they were talking about.  

After fifteen years of marriage, Juliet isn't sure she knows the man she married.  Surely he couldn't be involved in anything questionable, let alone illegal, but things aren't looking good.

As if matters couldn't get any worse, Juliet and her sons are in constant danger.  They're having a hard enough time grieving, but now they can't even stay in their home.  Her oldest son, who is twelve, seems to be taking his dad's death out on Juliet.  She's doing all she can to keep the three of them alive and together.  Thankfully she has two sisters and a brother on whom she can depend to help her through this devastating time.

Why was her husband murdered?  

And what on Earth do the killers what from her?  

 Will the killers be brought to justice?  

Who can she trust to make sure that they are?

Terri Blackstock's books are always full of adventure, twist and turns, and are always unpredictable.  There is never a dull moment!  Distortion will have you guessing till the end and you won't be able to put it down!  A must read for those who like suspense and drama!  I cannot wait to read book three!
