A Road Unknown
"A Road Unknown"
Barbara Cameron

Elizabeth, tired of taking care of her younger brother and sisters, takes off to become independent.  She moves in with an Englisch roommate, with whom she has been pen pals.  She finds a job working in an Amish run store that sells homemade quilts and crafts.  She has her share of mishaps when she tries to learn to use modern appliances.  There is also an English man who becomes interested in Elizabeth and also her Amish boss, Saul Miller.

Which will Elizabeth choose?  Also, her grandmother contacts the local bishop to convince her to come home.

Which man wins her heart?  Or does the bishop scare her into returning back home?

I enjoyed this book, especially the parts which took place in the craft shop.  There were a few parts which were a little too modern for my taste, which I didn't enjoy.
