Gunpowder Tea
"Gunpowder Tea"
Margaret Brownley

She's a Pinkerton. . . .
Because of an accident involving her dad many years ago, she hates Wells Fargo and anyone associated with them.  Miranda is out to prove to her father and the rest of the world that women can be good detectives, just as good as any man!  She assumes the identity of a hired heiress and starts her investigation to find the Phantom.  Not knowing that the new hired hand is a Wells Fargo Detective, but thinks he's the Phantom, he's on the top of her suspect list.  He's too good looking and charming for his own good and Miranda seems to enjoy keeping her eye one him.
He's a Wells Fargo detective. . . . .
Little does he know that the pretty new heiress is a Pinkerton and is set on proving him guilty as being the Phantom.  Somehow he seems to have the idea that she's not who she says she is.  He knows she's up to something, but what?  And why can't he seem to get her out of his mind?

Does he tell the owner, she's not who she says she is?  Do they join forces and work together?  How will she handle the fact that he's a Wells Fargo Detective?

I absolutely LOVED this book!  Margaret Brownley is one of my favorite authors.  She knows how to make her characters real to life!  While reading this book, I couldn't help but feel like I was in the middle of it all trying to find out who the Phantom was.  Great characters.  Suspense.  Mystery.  Romance.  Humor.  This book has it all!  I could not put it down!  No complaints about this one!  :)

I RECEIVED THIS COMPLEMENTARY BOOK FROM LITFUSE GROUP FOR REVIEW PURPOSES.
